Sound Spektrum In Production

CBSS is happy to announce that production is now underway with the Jazzy, soulful, and excentric sounds of "Sound Spektrum" The local quintet has stirred quite a buzz throughout the southeast and is primed for national recognition! "Sound Spektrum brings an eclectic mix of original music inspired and influenced by a wide variation of genres fusing Jazz, Funk, Latin, R&B, Rock and Soul, providing a tasty new direction in today’s music scene.  Each member brings individual flare to the group, creating a melting pot of harmonies emulating from Stevie Wonder to Michael Jackson to Radiohead to Incubus.
This young Florida quintet roots from Tampa, Brandon and Clearwater but originate from diverse cultures from Dominican Republic, Minnesota, Michigan, Brazil, Bolivia, and Taiwan; undeniably shaping their sound.  After the humble beginnings Nelson Mariscal and Chris Guerre shared to complete the band starting with guitar and bass in Fall of 2008, Sound Spektrum officially membered in Fall of 2009 with Nalisio Taveras on vocals, alto sax, and flute, Albert Warren on drums and newest member Elin Lee on keyboards.  Sound Spektrum has since been making their way around the Tampa Bay Area, receiving positive reviews with every performance from venues and audiences.  Sound Spektrum has also had the opportunity to attract and gain interest from local musicians sitting-in, having jammed classic covers with local musicians like Jeremy Powell from Swamp Logic/Infinite Groove Orchestra; and Prince and Justin Timberlake’s drummer John Blackwell.
Sound Spektrum’s has been working the past few months on recording their LP to drop Fall of 2010 and the launch of their officially site online to be up early September 2010."
